My turn!!

Well students, my time is here and now my turn to complete the coal bucket I will get. I know I've been talking about the coal bucket I will get to paint on since the day you started working on yours. My coal bucket should arrive this mid week and I have to say I am both excited and nervous. I will have 4 weeks to complete the mural on the coal bucket and I have to stay within my original design I submitted. I can't show you mine or even show what it looks like on this page. In order to see the final completion, you will have to come out to downtown Pittsburg to view it! Wish me luck as I begin!!!

Here is what the unpainted adult coal buckets look like

Over the rainbow......

2nd and 3rd day
We are getting so much done and ALL the buckets are looking great!

Today I encouraged the students to begin adding more value within each color.
Pushing the light and dark tones and placing details.

I think they are getting the hang of it!!

Have a great weekend!
